Kurisa Moya really lives up to it's name - tranquil, beautiful and full of the loving spirit of Lisa and Ben.

Joey Howard from Spridlington, England, 2 May 2002

We really enjoyed the cabin, and thin you guys have done a great job, especially some of the interior touches! Although the weather was poor, we managed two beautiful short trails and would love to hike some of the longer routes.

Anton and Kay from Pretoria, 2 May 2002 (Birdsong cabin in the Forest Lodge)

Alex (age 7 years):
"It was nice. I liked watching the monkeys while I was lying in my bed. I didn't like the mist. The fire made the house warm and I liked putting the logs on."

Melissa (age 15 years)
"When we were driving to Kurisa Moya I was thinking "where is my mother taking us" but when we arrived the tree-house looked so cosy that we were quite eager to explore and find out what other little surprises this place had to find. The food was delicious and I can definitely say that it was a room with a view. You guys thought of every little detail and helped me to realise how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful country."

Tina
"The Tree Tops Forest Cabin was absolutely my idea of bliss. No cars, no people, no cell phone reception and a log fire to keep us "toasty"! the location deep in the forest was magnificent and we slept every night with all the curtains open so that the first thing we saw on waking were trees, creepers, moss, swirling mist and a family of samango monkeys moving quietly through the tree tops. Even though the weekend was very misty and wet, it didn't spoil our holiday - Umsenge Forest was probably even more beautiful because of the rain and waterdrops hanging off the grandfather's beard and leaves. The pine forests and thick forest canopies had a special magic about them with the mist playing in and our of the trees. And all those wonderful smells!
The cabin was wonderful and thanks Lisa for all those extra little touches - lavender, handmade paper, and the delicious dinner that arrived warm in the picnic basket despite the 200m trek through the forest.

Than you also for your warmth and friendly chats, all of which added to a wonderful, wonderful weekend."

Mike
"What a privilege to visit your pristine mountain forest. Made all the better by the perfect weather you organised (rainy, misty and cold)! I kept thinking that this was the sort of forest Livingstone and others would have explored in their expeditions. I also wondered if there could still be any forest elephants hiding behind those huge trees. Thank you for a lovely weekend and I wish you and your partners every success with this venture."

Hope this helps you to enhance your wonderful Website.

Lovely setting and enjoyable, well-marked trails. Saw Samango monkeys, plenty of birds (thanks, Ben) and Knysna Louries really close to the cabin. Night skies were beautiful but chilly to look at for long in the winter!! Fishing was great fun (and very successful) - learnt a lot from Ben. Thanks very much! Very very peaceful. Nice homely touches in the cabin. Good luck for your venture, Lisa and Ben.

At dawn, I unite with the breeze to announce the coming of light. At eventide, I join the birds in bidding farewell to the light. The plains are decorated with my beautiful colours and the air is scented with my fragrance. As I slumber, the eyes of night watch over me and as I awake, I stare at the sun, which is the only eye of the sky. (Kalil Gibran)

An awesome couple of days in my secret valley!
